Title Asst Facilities Manager
Description Requirements:

1.    Education and Training:
  • Degree / Diploma in mechanical or electrical Engineering degree from a recognised University or Facilities Management qualification from a recognised institute
2.    Experience:
  • At least 5 years experience in a senior position in facilities management having responsibility for all functional and maintenance aspects of mall/bldg management
3.    Knowledge and Skills:
  • Practical knowledge in a wide range of engineering building support systems
  • Fault finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to write technical reports
  • Supervisory skills and planning/execution of work
  • Ability to manage a large multi-cultural labour force
  • Sound computer knowledge and skills
  • Exposure and knowledge of Building Management Systems and Integrated Facilities Management systems
  • Ability to liase with clients
  • Ability to liase and manage sub- contractors
  • To identify and recommend opportunities to improve the range, quality and cost effectiveness of services to the Client
4.    Responsibilities:
  • Manage the provision of key technical services, liase with client staff and contract service providers
  • Health & Safety - Ensure correct implementation of Health and safety procedures
  • M&E - Manage all statutory inspections; ensure all planned preventative maintenance is carried out in accordance with agreed schedule. Maintain a comprehensive asset register
  • Maintenance - Manage all maintenance issues, achieving a quick and effective resolution to issues as they occur
  • Chillers and Air-conditioning Systems - Manage the specialist contractor
  • Security - Manage the security systems
  • Asset Management System- Maintain appropriate records and mange asset management system
  • Contract Management - Manage, monitor and record performance of contractors against specifications
  • Assist with developing training programmes and training of staff
5.    Authority over:
  • Facilities Supervisors
  • Specialist sub contractors
